چکیده
In maritime engineering, marine-derived construction materials are seen as an efficient and cost-effective alternative. HWM is a novel inorganic cementitious material characterized by its high water content, rapid setting, early strengthening. this study, first, was proposed to be produced from seawater used in environment. Two groups of samples with varied w/c ratios were prepared fresh seawater, their behavior examined assess the viability seawater. The microstructures chemical compositions studied using SEM XRD. Results indicated that ratio increased 3:1 6:1, density, uniaxial compressive strength 72.1% 77.5%; 1.25 1.12 g/cm3, 1.47 MPa 0.39 MPa, respectively, which 2–10% lower, 0.8–2.2% higher, 13–45% stronger than water. composition mixed predominantly composed ettringite, C-S-H gel, aluminum (Al(OH)3) glue, M-S-H Mg(OH)2. SO42− Mg2+ participate hydration hardening HWM, resulting increase synthesis ettringite makes skeletal structure denser, hence increasing strength. derived retains excellent physical mechanical properties. This work reveals HWM-seawater interaction mechanism, elucidates promising application prospect paves way investigate field performance.

In this research, the effect of wood species and particle size on mechanicalproperties of wood plastic composites (WPC) made of fir (Abies alba) and beech(Fagus orientalis L.) sawdust and high density polyethylene (HDPE) wereinvestigated. Wood plastic composite (WPC) were made with 30% HDPE in abatch process at 185˚C, at two particle sizes of 40 mesh and 80 mesh. Maleicanhydride polypropylene (...
متن کاملPreliminary study of the physical and mechanical properties of soya stalk flour/high density polyethylene composite
The use of agriculture residues as filler in composites is increasing due to their strength, abundance and low cost. Soya stalks show promising renewable natural fiber. In polyethylene composites the physical and mechanical properties (flexural resistance, tensile, impacted absorbed energy, water uptake and thickness swelling) was examined at different composites. The results showed that, the m...
متن کاملPhysical and Rheological Properties of Oil in Water Heat Stable Emulsions Made from Different Stabilizers
Oil in water emulsions have attracted considerable attention in food industry due to their large applications. In this study, the effect of thermal treatment on oil in water emulsions (o/w) containing 40% oil was studied. The emulsions were prepared using xanthan gum, guar gum and carboxymethyl cellulose as stabilizer and polyoxyethylen sorbitan monooleat as emulsifier. A mixture design was use...
